Why didn’t any of you n00bs ever write in and tell me that my inline photographs totally broke the layout in Internet Explorer? I was completely unaware that IE didn’t support CSS2’s max-width property, although it doesn’t come as a particularly big surprise. The problem should now be fixed. Let me know if it’s not. ![[WS]](/blog/media/end.gif)

This series on YouTube is mildly interesting, and since the episodes are each only a few minutes long, I would encourage you to check it out. You might get hooked. Something made me keep watching.
This program is the new sketch. Even upon repeated viewings, I am still laughing out loud in my room by myself. I think it’s odd that [adult swim] has picked up a primarily live-action show, but I’m glad to see the mainstream absurdist humor revival; I don’t much care where it’s made its new home.
This piece of shit is hideous and insidious. Ever since Courtney and I accidentally came across it (we were looking for a video of “Put It In Ya Mouth”), the stupid song is all up in my brains, nonstop. Watch at your own risk.
This lad is making some compelling new tunes. “So Hot” and “Rich Bachelor” in particular are nice tracks with hot melodies and sweeping pads. Consider helping him out with five dollars. He’s a good guy.
This gay romantic dramedy was harmless and amusing slash actually somewhat emotionally compelling, but it was pretty clearly a vanity project. Understandably, audiences at gay film festivals loved it when it premiered, but I can also understand the general lack of critical praise. The acting is reasonably good, but the script suffers cliches and wants so badly to be hip, and the editing left something to be desired, and most of the characters are ridiculously underdeveoped, although I heard that the post-film novelization deals with that. I won’t, however, be reading this as a novel. Steve Sandvoss is the only reason I rented it anyway.
This has been your media roundup for the week of 19 February 2007. ![[WS]](/blog/media/end.gif)

Many things have slipped past undone by me of late, not least of which is blogging. The list also includes some of my contract work, writing a letter of recommendation for a good friend, tending to my friendships, balancing my checkbook, finishing this new hat. I don’t know what’s wrong, specifically. I’ve been feeling a severe lack of energy and passion, which doesn’t help in that I’m unwilling to expend effort on non-leisure activities when I’m home from my day job. This, of course, is nothing new. It’s just upsetting because I’ve spent a lot of time since I moved home trying to remedy these sorts of problems and, to a large extent, had succeeded in doing so temporarily. Now I’m backsliding and I can’t tell if it’s just winter finally getting to me, the reestablishment of a social scene, or some sort of cyclical apathy.
So I’m sorry for not writing more frequently. I’m sure some of you would like to see regular entries here. You know how I am about promises.
Starbucks is going well. I find that it is more consistently busy than COTC was, and that helps negate the fact that we basically are not allowed any downtime on the clock. I mean there are moments when we are just standing around but they are rare and fleeting. The staff are by and large very friendly and personable, and they feel genuine. It’s a comfortable place to be spending my 40. I’ve been able, so far, to pick up shifts to fill gaps in my schedule. I’m working nine straight shifts when I come off my downtime on Wednesday.
I don’t want to talk about work.
Matter of fact, I don’t want to talk about much. Or, there are things I’d like to talk about, but discussing them here is not the appropriate forum. ![[WS]](/blog/media/end.gif)

You more or less already saw the finished hat, but I am just so pleased with the little tag. Anyway, Chris was kind enough to take pictures for me, so you may head over to his Picasa gallery if you want to see the rest of them. ![[WS]](/blog/media/end.gif)
